Company Capital, Defined Risk

Our work today is in the world's currency and futures markets, using the company's own capital. Every position starts with a plan, carries a limit and ends with a review.

Why we begin here

Markets That Teach the Habits an Institution Needs

Currency and futures markets are open around the clock and move quickly. They reward preparation and expose carelessness. That makes them the right place to build the habits Jacob Decker will rely on for decades.

Investment philosophy
A close up of a clock with green numbers
Accountable by design

Our Own Capital, Our Own Consequences

Trading company capital keeps us accountable. There are no clients to persuade and no deposits to protect, only our own judgement and its consequences.

Every position is written down before it is opened, its size set before entry and its outcome reviewed after it closes.

Risk & discipline

Plan first

Every position is written down before it is opened.

Size before entry

Exposure is set in advance and never stretched.

Liquid markets only

Deep enough to enter and exit with discipline.

Review always

Win or lose, every decision is examined.

Our maxim

Not Every Market Requires a Trade

The long view

The method: four habits applied to every position

We act only in conditions we understand and have defined in advance

Most days, the right decision is to wait. We define the conditions we are prepared to trade and ignore everything else, however tempting. Fewer, better-understood decisions leave room to think clearly about each one.
